Mission Statement:
To be a lawyer who provides excellent legal services in the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, advanced health care directives, power of attorney, guardianships, wealth preservation and related matters. To accomplish this goal for individuals and families at affordable rates, with an emphasis on accuracy, respect and sensitivity.
How I Fulfill My Promise:
Flat fees. Like a growing number of respected attorneys, I feel this straightforward approach is the best and most fair way to serve clients. Following an initial meeting, if the client feels they would like to continue, I send an engagement letter with a quoted fee for the services we have discussed. If the client agrees to the fee, I perform the service in a timely manner. The client pays half to retain my services, and the balance upon completion. There are no other costs. Period.
House calls. Many clients feel more comfortable discussing matters in their own home, or in some other location of their choosing. I am happy to accommodate those requests. It’s an old-fashioned concept whose time has come again.
Small firm, big service. With the assistance of the latest technology available, I am able to exceed the expectations of my clients without a large amount of staff or overhead. This enables me as a lawyer to keep my rates more affordable than you are likely to find at larger firms. Clients are never relegated to a support person, which can be frustrating and lead to miscommunications between client and attorney.
I really care. I simply give clients the kind of attention I would expect in their situation and by doing so I ensure they always get the best.
